Hailey Bieber\’s insane figure is due to \’addictive\’ hot pilates workout

As recent pictures emerged of at Hailey Bieber\’s second wedding to Justin Bieber in South Carolina, USA, we were reminded of a) how incredibly fit she is (her rehearsal dress really shows of her incredibly toned legs) but also b) the fact that she has is a big fan of a new hybrid brand of Pilates. One that has conveniently has taken off in Australia, in case you were similarly inspired by the new bride.

She is a professional model, so staying in shape is practically a full time job for the Vogue Australia cover star. The 22-year-old has previously revealed to US Weekly her secret to keeping fit during her promotional activity for the launch of her ROXY Sister collection with Kelia Moniz.

“I’ve been doing hot Pilates for around two years now. I first started going to a place in Brooklyn and then I discovered a place out here in L.A. that I’ve gone to for quite some time now.”

Hot Yoga has been around for some time now, but this new iteration of hot Pilates is relatively new onto the scene. Working out in a heated studio promises benefits like an increased calorie burn due to a heightened heart rate and metabolism, improved muscle tone and flexibility.

Hailey swears by both practices, explaining: “I find that when you do any hot class your muscles are more pliable and you’re stretched out easier,” she said. “I’ve been a fan of hot yoga for a very long time too.”

One Hot Yoga & Pilates claims to be the first studio in the world to offer Hot Mat Pilates named ‘Hot Mat Pilates 270’. The workout is available at both their Melbourne and Sydney studios, and offers a ‘strong sequence that emphasizes mobility and builds control of the spine and core’. If you didn’t gather from the name, this is all done in a room heated to 27 degrees.

The benefits don’t end at abs, as Hailey also swears by hot Pilates for her skin health. “You come out dripping in sweat and my face is like a tomato and it’s good for your skin! I love it! I’m obsessed and it’s addictive,” she exclaimed.

“I used to be a dancer, which is all about being warmed up and warm and muscles being loose, so I just really enjoy hot classes like that,” she recalled.

Hailey has previously mentioned to Women’s Health that she ‘doesn’t love’ working out, so finding something that she knows works for her is the most important thing.

“I feel like I work harder because you know sometimes when you go to a workout and you feel stiff, so it’s painful and you don’t really want to do the work? When you’re warm, that doesn’t happen.”

The model compliments this intensive workout program with a healthy diet, sticking to Peter D’Adamo’s Blood Type Diet because it “makes a lot of sense and a difference when you really stick to it.”
